STORY: The film is the true story of Charles Manson as seen through the eyes of Brenda, Sadie and Squeaky, girls from prosperous families who became one of his most loyal followers; from the Family's beginnings as a hippie commune to a highly organized crime family made up of young females, that continued on long after Manson was sent to Death Row, and how one of its offshoots became known as "The Aryan Brotherhood." The story of Charles Manson is the story of the end of an era and the loss of innocence for an entire generation. The film will capture the lure and sense of exhilaration those who lived through the era experienced and provide a depiction of how such a thing could happen.

Charles Manson: In a portrayal the public has never seen; a brilliant, naive, mercurial, deeply flawed individual who was doomed from the get go. A neglected child, Manson was raised in an endless series of foster homes and reform schools.

Released from a six year stint in prison for stealing a car, Manson found himself thrust in the middle of the swinging 60's and began gathering together a substitute for the family he never had - nearly a hundred middle class white girls who found him funny, exhilarating and sexy in a way that was beyond their ability to resist.

A mildly talented but unschooled musician, Manson attracted the attention of various celebrities who tried, but were unsuccessful in promoting him as the, "next Bob Dylan." Faced with rejection and suffering from drug induced paranoia at the thought of losing his, "family," he began a descent into madness and ultimately detonated, launching the most notorious series of murders in American history that culminated in a barely failed attempt to assassinate the president of the United States.
